Example: On the Opportunity-Layout the lookup field "Account" is the controlling field. If an Account is selected and you want to select the Contact, you see the Contacts related to the selected Account. You click on the Contact and it appears automatically in the correct field.

The filter prozess works with ajax technology, so its realtime! That means, if you re-select the Account, you see the contacts related to the new selected Account and can choose one of them.

QuickSelect^© for salesforce.com is applicable on every object/field (standard and custom) inside yur organization.
